Spice Me Up Plums Recipe

Ingredients:

Canola oil
3 tablespoons minced shallots
1 1/2 pounds red (4-6), unpeeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick
2 tablespoons Splenda (optional)
1/4 teaspoons ground allspice
1/8 teaspoons ground ginger

Instructions:

Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Add shallots and cook 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add .  Cook 5 minutes or until just begin to soften. Sprinkle with Splenda, allspice and ginger. Reduce heat to medium low and cook 7 to 10 minutes or until tender.

Warm Me Up Winter Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

1 jar (20 ounce) no sugar added chunky applesauce
1 can (21 ounce) lite cherry pie filling
1 can  (15 ounce) packed in water no sugar sliced peaches, drained
1 can (11 ounce) no syrup added mandarin orange segments, drained
1 can (8 ounce) in it’s own juice pineapple chunks
1/2 cup Splenda or other substitute brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Set your crockpot on low.  Place all the ingredients in crockpot.  Mix together. Cover and cook for 90 minutes. If you prefer you can bake this in your oven.  Just place all ingredients in a large baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake 90 minutes.
